How to connect Qredo to Cryptio

You can connect your Qredo account to Cryptio using an API key. Once connected, Cryptio will automatically sync your balances and transactions from Qredo.

Step 1: Generate Your API Key in Qredo

Pre-requisites

  • You must have an Admin role in your Qredo account.

  • You must be logged into the Qredo web app.

  1. Log in to your Qredo account.

  2. Navigate to Account → Settings and choose the relevant account: Personal or Organization.

  3. In Settings, select the API tab.

  4. Click Create API Key (bottom right). Enter a name for your key and click Create.

    • Copy the API key and API secret.

    • Store the secret securely — it will not be displayed again. If lost, you’ll need to create a new key/secret pair.

  5. Open the hamburger menu and go to Permissions.

    • Enable only the necessary View/Read-only permissions.

    • Save your changes.

Only Read access is required.

Important:

  • Store your API key and secret securely. If compromised, delete them immediately and generate new ones.

  • For additional security, you can enable IP restrictions (allowlisting).

Step 2: Import Your API Key Into Cryptio

  1. Log in to your Cryptio workspace.

  2. Go to the Imports tab.

  3. Select Custody, then search for Qredo.

  4. Click the Qredo block.

  5. Enter your API key and API secret.

  6. Choose an import date range (full history is available).

  7. Click Create to start the import.

Step 3: Verify Your Import

  1. In the Imports tab, locate your Qredo connection.

  2. Click the transaction count.

  3. Review your balances and a sample of transactions to confirm they match your Qredo account.

Troubleshooting

  • Missing transactions: Confirm the API key has the required view permissions in Qredo.

  • Invalid or expired key: Generate a new API key in Qredo and update it in Cryptio.

  • Import error with IP restrictions: Ensure Cryptio’s IP addresses are added to your Qredo allowlist (if enabled).

  • Wrong date range: Re-import with the correct history range.
