How to connect HitBTC to Cryptio
Connecting your HitBTC account to Cryptio lets you automatically sync balances, deposits, withdrawals, and trade history into your Cryptio workspace.
Step 1: Generate Your API Key in HitBTC
Log in to your HitBTC account.
From the top menu, go to API Keys.
Click New API Key. A pair of keys will be generated. Copy both the API key and the secret key and store them securely.
Configure permissions by enabling:
Order book, History, Trading balance
Payment information
Leave trading and withdrawal permissions disabled.
Tip: Name your API key something descriptive (e.g., Cryptio_ReadOnly_2025-01).
Only Read access is required.
Step 2: Import Your API Key Into Cryptio
Log in to your Cryptio workspace.
Go to the Imports tab.
Click Import, then select HitBTC.
Paste your API Key and Secret Key into the required fields.
Select a date range (you can import full history).
Click Create to start the import.
Step 3: Verify Your Import
In the Imports tab, locate HitBTC.
Check the transaction count.
Click into Transactions and confirm that balances and a sample of deposits, withdrawals, and trades look correct.
Troubleshooting
Missing transactions: Check that you enabled both History and Payment information permissions.
Invalid or expired key: Regenerate the API key in HitBTC and update it in Cryptio.
Permission errors: Ensure no trading/withdrawal permissions are enabled, and only the required read permissions are active.
