How to manually label transactions in Cryptio

Even with label rules, some transactions need manual attention — such as exceptions, bulk adjustments, or historical data. Cryptio provides three manual options:

  1. Bulk labeling from the Transactions page (small batches)

  2. Bulk labeling via CSV import (large batches)

  3. Manual one-offs

Bulk Labeling from the Transactions Page (Small Batches)

This method applies a label to many transactions at once directly in the interface.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Transactions page.

  2. Use filters to narrow down the group of transactions.

  3. Select all transactions with Select all.

  4. Click Edit selected rows > Add Label.

  5. Choose your label and apply it.

Best for: Applying labels across small groups of transactions.

Bulk Labeling via CSV Import (Large Batches)

Use CSV imports for very large volumes or historical clean-up.

Steps:

  1. Pull a Transactions History Report

    • Go to Reports and generate the report.

    • Narrow by wallet if needed.

  2. Get the Batch Labels Update template

    • Go to Labels > click a label > scroll to See CSV example.

  3. Fill in the template

    • Copy Cryptio IDs of the transactions you want to label.

    • Paste into the Transaction ID column.

    • Remove any IDs in the Movement columns.

  4. Upload your CSV file

    • Go back to Labels.

    • Select your label.

    • In the pop-up drawer, click Batch import > Import from CSV.

    • Upload your completed file.

  5. Check your labels

    • Once imported, click the number under the Movement column.

    • Confirm the labels are reflected in the Transactions page.

Best for: Historical imports or large-scale updates.

Manual One-Offs

This method is for correcting or labeling individual transactions.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Transactions page.

  2. Click a transaction to open its details.

  3. Select a label and apply it.

Best for: Rare edge cases or isolated corrections.

Summary

Use bulk labeling for groups of exceptions, CSV imports for large historical clean-up, and manual one-offs only for individual corrections.
