How to connect Coinbase Commerce to Cryptio
You can connect your Coinbase Commerce account to Cryptio to automatically sync balances and transactions. Once set up, Cryptio will act as a sub-ledger for all your Coinbase Commerce activity.
Step 1: Generate Your API Key in Coinbase Commerce
Log in to your Coinbase Commerce account.
From the dashboard, click Settings.
In the API keys section, click Create an API key.
Top Tip: Name your API key descriptively, such as
Cryptio_ReadOnly_2025-01.
Copy the generated API key and store it securely. You will need it in the next step.
Only Read access is required.
Step 2: Import Your API Key into Cryptio
Log in to your Cryptio workspace.
Go to the Imports tab.
Click Import in the top-right corner.
Select Coinbase Commerce.
Paste your API key into the required field.
Select a date range for your import (you can choose full transaction history).
Click Create to begin the import.
Step 3: Verify Your Import
In the Imports tab, find Coinbase Commerce.
Click the transaction count to open Transactions.
Review balances and a sample of transactions to confirm accuracy.
Troubleshooting
Missing transactions: Ensure your API key has the correct View permissions.
Invalid/expired key: Regenerate your API key in Coinbase Commerce and update it in Cryptio.
Import errors: Double-check that you pasted the API key correctly.
