How to connect Gemini to Cryptio
Connecting your Gemini account to Cryptio allows you to automatically import balances and transaction history. Once set up, your data will stay in sync without manual uploads.
Step 1: Generate Your API Key in Gemini
Log in to your Gemini account.
In the top-right menu, go to Account → Settings → API.
Click Create a New API Key.
Configure your API key:
Permissions: Select Read-only. Do not enable trading or withdrawal permissions.
IP allowlist: If required, add Cryptio IP addresses here.
Label: Give your key a descriptive name (e.g.,
Cryptio_ReadOnly_2025-09).
Copy your API Key and API Secret. Store them securely.
Only Read access is required.
Step 2: Import Your API Key into Cryptio
Log in to your Cryptio workspace.
Go to the Imports tab.
Select Gemini from the list.
Enter the following details:
Name (any label you choose for this connection).
API Key (from Gemini).
API Secret (from Gemini).
Choose a date range for your imports:
To import all historical data, leave this section blank.
To import transactions starting from a specific date, enter your date range.
Click Create to start your import.
Step 3: Verify Your Import
In Cryptio, go to the Imports tab.
Locate your Gemini connection.
Click the transaction count to open the Transactions tab.
Review balances and a sample of transactions to confirm everything imported correctly.
Troubleshooting
Missing transactions: Ensure the API key has Read-only permissions enabled.
Invalid/expired API key: Regenerate a new key in Gemini and update it in Cryptio.
