How to connect BitGo to Cryptio

You can connect your BitGo account to Cryptio to automatically sync balances and transactions. Once set up, imports will refresh on their own.

Step 1: Generate Your BitGo Access Token

Log in to the BitGo app.

  1. Go to Account Settings.

  2. Scroll to the Developer Options section.

  3. Click Create Access Token.

To configure the token:

  • Name: Choose a descriptive name (for example: Cryptio_ReadOnly_2025).

  • Validity: Adjust the expiration if needed.

  • Permissions: Select all View permissions only. Do not enable trading or withdrawals.

  • IP allowlist: Add Cryptio’s IP address 63.35.116.119

  • Confirmation: Agree to the Terms and Conditions, enter your 2FA code, and click Add Access Token.

In BitGo, Access Token and API Key mean the same thing.

Step 2: Import Your Access Token into Cryptio

  1. Copy the Access Token you just created.

  2. Log in to your Cryptio workspace.

  3. Go to the Imports tab.

  4. Click + Import and select BitGo.

  5. Paste your Access Token into the API key field.

  6. Select a date range (full history is available).

  7. Click Create to start the import.

Step 3: Verify Your Import

  1. In Imports, locate BitGo.

  2. Check the transaction count and click through to Transactions.

  3. Confirm that balances and transactions display correctly.

Troubleshooting

  • Missing transactions: Ensure all required View permissions are enabled in BitGo.

  • Invalid or expired token: Generate a new token in BitGo and update it in Cryptio using Update credentials (no need to re-import).

  • IP allowlist error: Double-check that Cryptio’s IP (63.35.116.119) has been entered correctly.
