How to connect Deribit to Cryptio
Connecting your Deribit account to Cryptio lets you automatically sync balances and transactions. Once set up, your data will stay up to date without manual exports.
Step 1: Generate Your API Key in Deribit
Log in to your Deribit account.
In the top-right corner, click My Account.
From the dropdown menu, select Security Keys.
Go to the API tab on the left-hand side.
Click + Add New Key on the right-hand side.
Configure the key:
Permissions: Enable Read-only access for Block Trade, Account, Trade, Wallet, and Custody.
Name: Add a descriptive name (optional).
Click Create a New API Key.
Select Load Keys. This generates your API key.
Copy both the Client ID and Client Secret — you’ll need these to connect with Cryptio.
Only Read access is required.
Step 2: Import Your API Key Into Cryptio
Log in to your Cryptio workspace.
In the top navigation bar, go to the Imports tab.
Select the Exchanges tab and click on Deribit.
Enter a name for your import.
Paste your Client ID and Client Secret into the required fields.
Choose a date range — you can import your full transaction history if needed.
Click Create to start the import.
Your Deribit data will now appear alongside your other imports.
Step 3: Verify Your Import
In the Imports tab, find your Deribit connection.
Click the Transactions number next to Deribit. This opens the Transactions tab with your Deribit data.
Alternatively, click the Deribit line, open the Source Edition popup, scroll to Source Summary, and select Transactions.
Review your balances and transactions to confirm they match your Deribit account.
Troubleshooting
Missing transactions: Confirm all Read-only permissions (Block Trade, Account, Trade, Wallet, Custody) are enabled.
Invalid/expired key: Regenerate a new API key in Deribit and update it in Cryptio.
Import errors: Double-check that you entered both Client ID and Client Secret correctly.
