How to connect KuCoin to Cryptio
By connecting your KuCoin account to Cryptio, you can automatically sync your balances and transaction history into your Cryptio workspace. Once set up, data will continue to update without manual uploads.
Step 1: Generate Your KuCoin API Key
Log in to your KuCoin account.
From the top-right menu, hover over your avatar and select API Management.
Click Create API.
In the window that appears, choose API Trading.
Enter an API Name (e.g.,
Cryptio_ReadOnly_YYYY-MM).Create an API Passphrase.
Warning: This passphrase is required for authentication and will be needed later. Store it securely.
Once created, your API Key, Secret Key, and Passphrase will be displayed.
The Secret Key is shown only once. Save it securely.
During setup, review the following:
Permissions: Select View/Read-only only. Do not enable trading or withdrawal permissions.
IP Allowlist (recommended): Enable IP restriction and add Cryptio’s IP address:
63.35.116.119Passphrase: Record it safely; it will be required when connecting to Cryptio.
Step 2: Import Your KuCoin API Key into Cryptio
Log in to your Cryptio workspace.
Go to the Imports tab.
Select Exchanges.
Click the KuCoin block.
Enter the following details:
API Key
Secret Key
API Passphrase
Choose your Import date range (you can fetch your full history).
Click Create to start the import.
Step 3: Verify Your Import
In the Imports tab, find KuCoin in your list of connections.
Click on the transaction count next to KuCoin.
Review your balances and a sample of transactions to confirm data has imported correctly.
Troubleshooting
Missing transactions: Check that the API key has View/Read-only permissions enabled.
Invalid or expired API key: Regenerate your key in KuCoin and update it in Cryptio.
IP allowlist error: Ensure that Cryptio’s IP
63.35.116.119has been added in KuCoin.Secret Key lost: If you no longer have your Secret Key, you’ll need to generate a new API key in KuCoin.
