How to connect Columis to Cryptio
Step 1: Generate Your API Key in Columis
Log in to your Columis account.
From your Dashboard, go to the API Tokens tab in the left-hand menu.
Note: You may need to complete a verification process before creating an API key.
Click Add New API Token (green button).
Configure the API token:
Permissions: Select View/Read-only only. Do not enable trading or withdrawals.
IP allowlist (optional): Add Cryptio’s IPs if you want additional security.
Validity: Set an expiration date if available.
Top tip: Name your API token descriptively (e.g.,
Cryptio_ReadOnly_2025-01).
Save your API Key and Secret. These are shown only once — store them securely.
Only Read access is required.
If your keys are ever compromised, delete the current token and generate a new one.
Step 2: Import Your API Key into Cryptio
Log in to your Cryptio workspace.
Go to the Imports tab.
Select Exchanges.
Click on the Columis block.
Enter your API Key and Secret in the required fields.
Choose your Import date range (full history is available).
Click Create to begin the import.
Step 3: Verify Your Import
In the Imports tab, locate Columis.
Check the transaction count.
Click it to open the Transactions tab.
Confirm that balances and a sample of transactions match your Columis records.
Troubleshooting
Missing transactions: Ensure your API key has all required View/Read-only permissions.
Key invalid or expired: Regenerate a new API key in Columis and update it in Cryptio.
IP allowlist error: If enabled, confirm that Cryptio’s IPs are correctly entered in Columis.
Secret key not working: Ensure you copied and stored it correctly when the token was first generated.
